The ‘Acting Against Worms’ Bilharzia Drama Festival took place in the Busia District of Uganda on the 10th of April 2010. Five schools performed pieces about Bilharzia prevention to an audience of 300+ including many local dignitaries and politicians.

December 18, 2009 :: Related project: ‘Telling Stories’ Wellcome Trust International Public Engagement Workshop

The Wellcome IPE Workshop was held at NCBS, Bangalore, from the 7th to the 10th of December, hosted by Dr Mukund Thattai.  Jeff, Arundhati and Paul Sirett led a drama workshop on the first day.

On the second day they were joined by Jagdish, Simon, Sukhita, Ruchika, Pritham and Paula Hamilton for a presentation of extracts from past Theatrescience productions to delegates and NCBS staff and students. This was followed by a discussion.
