‘Telling Stories’ Wellcome Trust International Public Engagement Workshop
The second Wellcome Trust International Public Engagement Workshop was produced by Theatrescience Co-director Rebecca Gould, assisted by Jess Mordsley. The theme of the workshop was ‘Telling Stories: Why narrative matters in public engagement with science’, and the key questions for the conference where: when and how can we use storytelling properly in public engagement – and what are the potential dangers of misusing it?

The Wellcome IPE Workshop was held at NCBS, Bangalore, from the 7th to the 10th of December, hosted by Dr Mukund Thattai. Jeff, Arundhati and Paul Sirett led a drama workshop on the first day.
On the second day they were joined by Jagdish, Simon, Sukhita, Ruchika, Pritham and Paula Hamilton for a presentation of extracts from past Theatrescience productions to delegates and NCBS staff and students. This was followed by a discussion.
